Holy Ninja Nerf Batman!
Hmmmmmm, this was a little surprise that Blizzard decided to wait to tell us about the EVE before the patch… The ninja added the healing nerf that they were talking about before their little resilience change. This little change has a profound effect on use as well, details after the break…… rawr [Ghostcrawler has actually cleared this up a bit, see full post]
I thought this healing debuff would only effect healers, considering that they would benefit from the resilience change; Turns out it effects ALL forms of healing. This means… Healthstones, highlighted above, Fel Armor, Haunt, Drain Life, Siphon Life, Soul Leech etc… Maybe I’m just a cry baby, and maybe 10% won’t really be that much but, a nerf is the last thing that we need right now, especially in PvP and even more so with affliction PvP. Either way, just an update on blizzard’s little late night ninja…
- All healing abilities (including items such as potions) will be decreased in effectiveness by 10% when in Battlegrounds, Arenas, or Wintergrasp.
Confusing nerf is Confusing
Ghostcrawler cleared up the healing issue with warlocks, apparently we are hardly effected.
It’s a little technical, but things that are actual drains are not affected. Heals that get proc’d by other effects are affected.
Currently the nerf is only 10%, so I don’t expect the impact on a lot of these lower healing effects to be a big deal.
What makes it confusing is that fact that he says that it only effects heals that get proc’d…. Fel Armor is proc’d.. yeah its life based but still proc’d, yet not affected? Whatever… I won’t argue with him.
