Rewinding Warlock Changes
I nearly slept in way too late today due to the sheer darkness of my lair… Iv’e gotten really good at keeping the light out. I woke to my dismay however, learning that Blizzard intended to just string us along with false hope until cataclysm, where they plan on pulling the rug out from under us; I happen to like my rug! This build is full of surprises, and I am too drowsy to accurately comprehend them… so I’m sure I’ll be raging sometime later today. Summoning Up Some Changes
As you know I’m sure, warlocks enjoy dark, secluded places to work on their evil plans of world domination, and mass mage genocide. This is exactly what I have been doing for the past few weeks (Or at least what I like to tell people I have been doing.) In short, without criting you with a wall of text, I have been really really busy. However, as difficult as it was, I found a short break in my maniacal plans to write a short article. This one is a recap of a few short conversations Ghostcrawler had on the official forums regarding future plans for Warlocks and their mechanics in Cataclysm, including one juicy bit of info.

Unofficial Beta Patch Notes
Finally Blizzard is getting the ball rolling on the warlock talent changes. In a recent build of the beta they made some awesome, rather drastic changes to the 31 point talent trees as well as taking steps at revamping many of our old, archaic abilities like Enslave Demon, underwater Breathing etc… The biggest change so far is a little modification to Shadowflame that I think everyone will enjoy. Below is the unofficial patch notes regarding warlocks in the newest beta build.

New Alpha changes for Warlocks
[Updated 7/14/2010: 31 point talent calculator and talents] So, I heard a rumor somewhere that there was a new build to the recently leaked Cataclysm Alpha client, and it appeared to be true. I couldn’t have imagined how much juicy info I would stumble apon. I found new Demonology talents, Demon soul effects, and a confirmation on another recent little rumor I am stoked for 
I will keep this post updated as often as possible with all of the proposed warlock changes in Cataclysm that I find, as well as any other relevant information.

Call to Arms: Write for Felfire.com
Between feeding my Felhunter the scraps of mage flesh I take home from my arena fights to making sure my imp stays out of my stash of healhstones, I DO try to find the time to focus on the blog. Recently I have been having lots of requests, both public and private, for the addition of some more bloggers. The site currently is predominately horde, and is lacking a bit of spec diversity I’ll admit. So this is where I open the blog up to the world and invite any interested warlocks to get in on the mage bashing fun!

A Warlock Can Dream…
Something you might already know about me is, I like to daydream, mostly about Warlocks. My mind is constantly tormented by thoughts and ideas much like a [Temporal Vortex] swirling endlessly with the hopes and dreams of the wishful warlock. What has my mind turning this time is Blizzard’s announcement regarding the revamped glyph system, and the scrapping of their end game advancement system, “Path of the Titans.”
