New Alpha changes for Warlocks
[Updated 7/14/2010: 31 point talent calculator and talents] So, I heard a rumor somewhere that there was a new build to the recently leaked Cataclysm Alpha client, and it appeared to be true. I couldn’t have imagined how much juicy info I would stumble apon. I found new Demonology talents, Demon soul effects, and a confirmation on another recent little rumor I am stoked for 
I will keep this post updated as often as possible with all of the proposed warlock changes in Cataclysm that I find, as well as any other relevant information.

I Has the Crabs…
I have been patiently waiting for something to write about, hoping for some more juicy warlock leaks or a rant worthy news post, but for a while there has been nothing, which is the reason for the few updates from me. Finally though, Ghostcrawler got into a rather extensive debate with some warlocks on the official forums, which resulted in a lot of interesting topics which ranged from Shadow Bolt benefiting from affliction talents to their plans for Warlocks in Cataclysm. All in all there is some good stuff there and it got my rant juices flowing

Official Fel Fire Patch!
(updated to v1.7 (June/10/2010) I finally put the finishing touches on my new spell replacer patch, Fel Fire! Warlocks have always wanted Green Fire ever since we saw the first Fel fire spells in burning crusade. Countless patches have been made, then abandoned, then to be resurrected again only to be horrible and completely outrageous. I wanted something simple, something that just turned my fire green, nothing else. Not a bunch of random spell replacements that had countless spell incompatibilities. On top of that I also wanted a patch that would change my icons to the Fel fire equivalent, which none of them did. Sadly no one ever took the time to work a patch out like this, even though it might be the most sought after patch ever. Well, that all changes here…

Cataclysm Class Preview: Warlocks
As I am sure most of you know, Blizzard boldly stepped out and gave us an early preview of the class changes we will come to expect for Cataclysm. You might find it surprising that I am very excited about the Shaman changes. They have been in need of some good buffs, and I have been in need of some good shaman opponents rather than free HKs… 
That being said, Blizzard has also unveiled the Warlock Class changes (Though originally in Spanish) and I am here to elaborate on them as well as give you my rather pointed opinions.

Hoist the Colours! iPhone Edition
So I was in the mood to work on my wallpapers and someone on twitter mentioned that I should do some wallpapers in iPhone format. I was kinda hitting myself over the head for not thinking of it earlier (Considering I do iPhone graphic work for a living lol). I figured it would be cool for iPhone users to have a few of the wallpapers for their iPhones or Droids I have also had plans to pickup a droid, and my girlfriend has an iPhone so I figured… what the hell lets do it. Right now I just have the more basic ones since I’m not sure how the more complex ones would look. I’ll take a swing at a few versions, but I’ll definitely expect ideas from you guys

Hoist the Colours!
Hey all, it’s time I unveiled my little project for you guys. A while back I stumbled across a really talented graphics designer who made some stunning wallpapers for the Warlock’s Den back in 08. his name was “Twista” They were gorgeous but he had only made a few of them, then left the WoW scene (or so it seemed). I have since then been recreating these wallpapers in HD and adding my own personal flare. I am very satisfied with the results, and so are a few of my friends who were able to get a sneak peak while I was designing them. The warlock class is slowly becoming an obsession for me. They are dark and maniacal, sexy and stylish, and devastatingly powerful. I have always enjoyed their back story, as well as the story for the various Warlock cults of Azeroth, and I very much enjoy all aspects of their Dark Arts, which includes spells and demons that I only WISH we could control. My plan with these wallpapers are to embody all that a warlock is, and not limit them to the strict guidelines Blizzard has set for them.
